EASA to discuss Cybersecurity in Aviation during FIDAE 2022

A conference on Cybersecurity in Aviation will be held within the framework of the EU-Latin America and Caribbean Aviation Partnership Project (EU-LAC APP), at the International Air, Space Fair – FIDAE – and funded by the European Commission.

Organized by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Cybersecurity conference will take place on Tuesday, April 5th, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Hall A, Conference Room, as part of FIDAE, the longest standing and most recognized Air, Space, Defense and Security Exhibition in Latin America.

Given the increasing importance of cybersecurity as a result of the need to protect critical data and information subject to the ongoing threat of new technological developments and standing attacks by cybercriminals, EASA launched a community website aimed at aviation cybersecurity professionals.

The website provides detailed information on regulations and standards, with particular stress on information sharing and collaboration initiatives. Thus, in order to keep members informed and up to date, EASA makes Regulations and Standards, Information Sharing and Collaboration Initiatives available through the website, such as the European Strategic Coordination Platform (ESCP), the European Centre for Cybersecurity in Aviation (ECCSA) and the Network of Cybersecurity Analysts (NoCA). This will be addressed during the 22nd International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE.
