FIDAE 2024 WILL STREAM ITS OPENING CEREMONY AND ATTRACTIVE CONFERENCES


The International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE, will take place between April 9 and 14. The Fair will live stream the opening ceremony, as well as some attractive conferences of some important exhibitors, for those who can’t attend in person.


The twenty-third edition of FIDAE will live stream the opening ceremony, through its official Instagram account @FIDAEOFICIAL and the Official FIDAE YouTube Channel. In addition to multiple and interesting conferences organized by Space Summit, LARS, IILA, DGAC and IDAE, which will be broadcast live through its official YouTube channel "FIDAE OFICIAL".

The III version of Space Summit, one of its most important conferences, will be held from Tuesday, April 9 to Thursday, April 11. This event will have important guests, civilian and military authorities who will speak about technological advances, acquired knowledge, in addition to contributing to the national awareness in the space field.

On Wednesday, April 10, from 9:45 am to 4:45 pm, within the framework of Space Summit, there will also be held the LARS (Latin American Remote Sensing) conference. This session will be centered on the generation of spaces for dialogue and exchange of experiences in the field of remote sensing, which are instruments that allow obtaining information about an object by scanning it from a distance.

The Meeting of Space Agencies of the Member Countries of the International Italo-Latin American Organization (IILA) will be held from April 9 to 11. The intergovernmental organization created in 1966, was conceived as a tool to promote and strengthen cultural, socioeconomic, technical-scientific and cooperation relations between Europe and Latin America. It is made up of Italy, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.

There will also be a conference called "Challenges in Accident Investigation Processes (AIG)" organized by the Chilean Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC). This international seminar is aimed at promoting air and operational safety factors, applying proactive and predictive management, following the trends of best practices in the aeronautical business worldwide.

Finally, on Wednesday, April 10, there will be a conference called "International Law applied to Air and Space", organized by the Chilean Institute of Aeronautics and Space Law (IDAE). Among the topics to be discussed are: criminal sanctions and jurisprudence of aeronautical crimes, protection of national sovereign airspace, along with its respective rules and regulations, international conventions and their application, and limitations on the use of force.
