The International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE 2024, will have several opportunities for experts to analyze and discuss the topics to be addressed in the conferences and seminars during the aerospace exhibition of longest trajectory and recognition in Latin America.

During the twenty-third edition, the Space Summit will be held, which will be divided into different conferences, to pave the way for the National Space System in the national culture, in addition to focusing on space systems and in SATCOM (satellite communication) new technologies. At the event, there will be some relevant authorities such as the Director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), Aarti Holla-Maini.

The Latin American Remote Sensing Week (LARS) will also be held during Space Summit. This conference will aim to create spaces for dialogue, and experiences exchange in the remote sensing field.

Some of the exhibitors at Space Summit will be the Commander-in-Chief of the Chilean Air Force, as well as some ministers such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, the Minister of National Defense, and the Minister of Science, Technology, Knowledge, and Innovation.

The Space Summit will host the Meeting of Space Agencies of the member countries of the International Italo-Latin American Organization (IILA), which will gather representatives of the member countries of the intergovernmental body. This meeting will promote cultural, socioeconomic, techno-scientific, and cooperation relations between Europe and Latin America.

The Civil and Commercial Aviation area will address the investigation of air accidents during the seminar: “Challenges in the Processes during the Accident and Incident Investigation (AIG)”, coordinated by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC). The objective is to promote the different air safety factors and implement operational safety management.

Likewise, the V International Congress on Aeronautics and Space Law, organized by the Chilean Institute of Aeronautics and Space Law (IDEA by its acronym in Spanish) will be held. The Congress will deal with topics about International Law applied to the Air and Space, including Criminal Penalties, and Jurisprudence of Aeronautical Crimes.

Additionally, the event will host the “XX Meeting of Logistic Commanders of the South American Air Forces”, where specialists will present and exchange their experiences to look for opportunities to improve logistic processes.
